Industry Expert Hired to Lead Business Development, Sales and Strategic Planning

Granite State Manufacturing (GSM), an Allard Nazarian Group (ANG) Company and a leading concept-to-product manufacturing solutions provider for the defense, medical, semiconductor, and industrial market segments, is pleased to announce Douglas (Doug) Thomson has joined the company as Vice President. As a member of the GSM executive team, Thomson’s responsibilities include leading Business Development, Sales, Marketing and Strategic Planning for the company as well as directing the company’s government relations program.

Thomson is an executive business development and marketing professional with more than 25 years of experience in developing and launching a host of innovative products and programs to the defense, aerospace, security, electronics, and transportation markets. As the founder and Executive Vice President of Products for EcoDual, Inc. he recently led development of the company’s proprietary dual fuel system for heavy truck engines.

Earlier in his career, Thomson served in areas of increasing responsibility at QinetiQ North America/Foster-Miller for 21 years, where he led domestic and international businesses including the development of advanced military equipment, physical security projects, body-borne electronics, and commercial aircraft safety technologies. His broad experience will assist in the growth and development of established and new GSM business segments.

Thomson holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Syracuse University. He will be based at GSM’s headquarters in Manchester, New Hampshire.
